After the success of A.G. Williams Painting Company Paint It Pink – Paint It Teal fundraising campaign in 2011, they will renew their effort in 2012. Paint it Teal was conducted in honor of National Ovarian Cancer month in September and Paint it Pink is running from October through December in honor of breast cancer awareness.
In connection with these campaigns, the company is donating $2,750 to Support Connection, a Westchester County-based not-for-profit organization that offers free, confidential support services to people nationwide who are affected by ovarian and breast cancer.
“Breast cancer and ovarian cancer continue to deeply impact people in our Westchester County and southern Fairfield County communities,” said Paul Viggiano, A.G. Williams’ director of business administration and marketing. “A.G. Williams wants to do its part to help fight these diseases by strengthening our relationship with Support Connection so that they can continue to provide emotional, social and educational support services to women, their families and friends.”
“We appreciate the efforts of A.G. Williams to support our efforts in providing critical free and confidential counseling and support services to people impacted by breast and ovarian cancer,” says Katherine Quinn, Executive Director of Support Connection.
As part of its support, A.G. Williams participated in the 18th Annual Support A Walk on Sunday, October 7th, at FDR Park in Yorktown. A.G. Williams employees also raised awareness by wearing pink tee-shirts at job sites during the month of October.
