PDCA’s Craftsmanship Forum brought together over 60 painting contractors serious about craftsmanship for an educational and fun few days in Portland, Ore. A host of educational sessions and tours of amazing local paint jobs not only discussed and taught the fundamentals of craftsmanship but actually showed it. It's a fantastic experience to sit among a group of like-minded professional craftspeople and geek out products and process. And for those of you who have lost hope that there are still actual craftspeople in our industry, this group proved that they exist. Aside from the lively discussions throughout the planned activities, plenty of knowledge sharing about challenging finishes, substrates, and customers happened throughout the halls and streets of Portland.
