Good Neighbor Corner: Spectrum Paint

Share |

All over we are seeing signs of neighborly love. This week we report on Spectrum Paint who donated 6,000 respirators to local healthcare systems.

"Early on we were being careful, because people were trying to hoard and some people were trying to purchase mass amounts to try to price gauge and sell online.  When we discovered that the hospitals were experiencing shortages, we decided to donate the remaining 3-M 8210 respirators out of our distribution centers.  Over 6,000 masks," said Gentry Stafford.  The following hospitals and health systems received masks:

St. Francis Health System, Tulsa, OK
Bon Secours Virginia Health System, Richmond, VA
SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Oklahoma City
The University of Kansas Health System, Overland Park, KS
Hillcrest Hospital Claremore

However, Spectrum still has options for you. Dual cartridge respirators are in stock.  In particular, the 3M 6000 Series Dual-Cartridge Respirators (reusable) and SAS Safety Bandit® Disposable Dual Cartridge Respirators.

Stay tuned as APC investigates availability of PPE.
