The International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL) 2018 National Convention is quickly approaching. This year’s National Conference will be held October 16-21 at the Grandover Resort  in Greensboro, N.C.

This year’s event is being held in conjunction with the High Point Market, the largest home furnishings market in the world. This cross-over opportunity gives decorative artists access to 17,000 designers, 75,000 attendees, 2,000 exhibitors with more than 100 countries.

The IDAL National Convention is set to host a full schedule of business seminars, think tank/round table discussions and workshops led by many of the decorative painting industry’s finest instructors. Topics will range from pro tips for painting cabinets and concrete to stenciling and trompe l’oeil insight. The Vendor EXPO, Designer Challenge, live demonstrations and a game night and other fun events provide plenty of valuable educational and networking opportunities for attendees.

“We all have busy calendars, but please believe me when I say that when you elevate your professional expectations and invest in you, it will pay dividends both to yourself and in the lives of others,” comments Cindy Howard, IDAL board member managing Marketing & Education, and co-owner of Decorative & Faux Finishes.
