Project Profile - Tower 60

22 October, 2019

Post Image

The famous Tower 60 in El Segundo Beach will be rocking a new look this October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thanks to the Tower 60 Foundation and Behr Paint, the lifeguard stand was painted Heart Breaker, "a bright, hopeful, cheery shade of pink" from it's usual teal. Behr donated the paint to this inspiring project in to raise awareness about an illness that affects 1 in 8 women in the US. Volunteers from all over picked up paint brushes on October 7, and helped in the transformation. The lone lifeguard tower on El Segundo Beach will remain pink until the end of the month.
