One of the perks of the painting industry is that your jobsite can change every day - from awful to awesome. We want to see the awesome! Send us photos of your favorite jobsites for a chance to be featured on Paint News and in a future issue of APC Magazine! At the end of the year, we will choose the Jobsite of the Year… and we'll run it on the cover of the November/December issue of APC. You'll get a feature article dedicated to your company and projects and lots of extra issues to pass out to your friends and family. So send us your photos for a chance to be the Jobsite of the Year!
Chad Lyons, owner of Lyons Painting & Design, called this historic home at the south end of Bainbridge Island, Wash., looking east out across Puget Sound at Seattle, a stunning tribute to design and craftsmanship, being precariously hung on the edge of a cliff.
Designed by Carl Gould, a prominent Seattle architect, and built around 1914-1915, this was reportedly the first home on Bainbridge Island with electricity—powered by a giant generator that was housed in a concrete room in the basement.
We call it a stunning paint job performed well on a challenging site. Kudos to the Lyons Painting team!
Daniel Barnes of The Painting Pros LLC was in beautiful central Kentucky, refinishing a deck and then repainting an exterior porch railing, when he snapped these shots. Just another beautiful morning in horse country, Barnes says.
