We asked painters, what brushes have you tried? These are the results...

One thing to note is that our questions only allowed 1 selection. So don't take these numbers as rock solid, but We know most painters have used Purdy, Arroworthy and Wooster brushes. However, there are some that swear by others. Check out their comments here...

Nylon Dale Purdue for metal doors, etc. Looks like they're sprayed when I do them. 46 years in business.
